Starboard Communications operates as a marketing team powered by radio. Responsibilities:
• Prospect and develop new business.
• Grow revenues from an existing client list and prospect list.
• Provide and create marketing concepts and solutions to grow a client’s business through the effective planning, presentation and execution of proven radio – marketing principles for long-term client retention and measurable success via radio marketing.
• Manage all aspects of the client relationship – creative, campaign development, maximize revenue from all clients, efficiently handle billing, & collections as they relate to sales process.
• Operate within the Starboard Communications and CRTC sales guidelines.

Qualifications:
• Minimum College Diploma and /or equivalent direct sales experience.
• Prior media sales and/or agency experience an asset.
• Very strong prospecting, selling and presentation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory; as are organizational – skill-sets,  a strong understanding and implementation of  time management skills rounded out with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with energy, ideas, discipline and enthusiasm.
• Able to work independently; yet a strong team player.
• Computer competency a must Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Airware and MicroBBM.
