A networking site for Radio advertising sales professionals.
Happy Friday, everyone!
Here is this week's poll question:
Is there an advertiser in your market that would be considered a “celebrity” because of his or her radio advertising campaign? If so, what type of business is your client in, and what makes his or her advertising special?
Looking forward to reading your replies!

Permalink Reply by David Neely on January 27, 2012 at 3:04am I've always talked about the Flower Gallery. I've attached a few examples. There's more on my member page here. The Flower Gallery isn't afraid to be different. Their business has doubled in the last 5 years. The staff here always enjoys their ads and listeners have called us (and them) about how much they look forward to hearing them too.
I have a new car dealer who is fully utilizing radio. The GM there does most of his ads and they are also on every ID on both stations. I have enclosed an mp3 of their id's.
I have a property management company that has run a very aggressive campaign the last 4 years. Our call to action is always the same "call Sarah Sue today". Sarah Sue is the owner of the company. We never use her last name and most people don't know it...but they certainly know who Sarah Sue is and are excited to meet her.
Permalink Reply by Joe Geoffrey on January 27, 2012 at 10:38am I have a jewelry store / women's specialty boutique store that features the owner.
I have an insurance agent that lets us do whatever we want with her ads. We've gone the funny route and have several different types of campaigns. One includes a "mascot" we've created. It's called the KONO DRAGON, and he breathes awesomeness! ;)
I have to admit that I don't recognize the people behind the adverts which is a pity. I'm happy when I rememhber the agency! But I remember one woman who made a really good advert for a product I like.. I was so happy that I try to deliver flowers by post to plymouth for her. But I never got an answer :(
