Mardi Gras event in Indiana where we block off downtown street. We also host a Moto Expo (Auto dealer event & sale) & Taste of Home Cooking School. We co-sponsor the Home Show with the local Home Builders Association. Planning an all day event finishing up with a free concert at the reservoir later this summer. Also very active with downtown committe with their Music Fest and Rib Fest events this summer.
We will produce our 20th annual Clay County Home Health and Family Expo next month ( www.radioworksforme.com) In April we will produce our 12th annual Business Showcase (similar to the Clay County, but a different name.) In September we will produce our 2nd annual Bridal Showcase.
Nicely done, Mike. Just went to your website to poke around a bit. It's clean, informative, user-friendly. The name HH&F suggests you attract a wide variety of exhibitors - pretty much anyone interested in the exposure - yes? Thanks for sharing the info!
We don't do much off-site stuff; other than the Colgate Country Shwdown Championship that kicks off the Upper Missouri Valley Fair every year. We get 700-1,000 people.
We do host two "Ag Breakfasts" every fall, 1 in Montana and 1 in North Dakota; and we also host fou "Good Neighbor Breakfasts" each fall; 2 in Montana and 2 in North Dakota; but they are pretty small events.
This year will be our 19th Spring Expo. It is held each year in April and is mostly home and garden but all kinds of businesses participate...mostly out of town money! We also do the Colgate Country Showdown.
We do a "Spring Fair in April", A Kids Fishing Derby in August, a Kids Halloween Party October 31st!, plus we are always heavily involved in all the community events, we have a Harvey Fest in July - 2 day event, an Ag Show in March, we set up our fifth wheel and live on the Midway at the Wells County Fair.
Our stations are hosting the 12th annual Palouse Empire Home & Garden EXPO. Click on the link to the EXPO website if you're interested in details, including exhibitor packages and agreement, initial floor layout (can expand to accommodate additional exhibitors).
We also co-sponsor a Bridal Fair in November, a good event - though not as major an undertaking as the EXPO.
Each spring we usually do a show of some kind. Last year we did a farm and home show. In 2008 it was "Taste of Home." This year we've decided to take a different approach, putting together a "health" expo. We've booked a date in April at the school. We have 2 gyms to use--one for the expo and the other for special presentations. This will be our first run at this type of show.
Wow, Kimberly, that's impressive! Is there a website connected with the show? Any chance you'd be willing to share details, sales materials, etc. here - fill in the back story, etc.? Love to learn more about what you did and how you did it!
we do several off site shows each year are most popular ones are the big boy toys show that we do on mainstreet in Lake Havasu. we also have our "Havasu's got talent" that we spend five weeks of trials at five different locations every week. then the finals at our play house on main street. great promotion over 200 contestants.
