Last year, one of our local restaurants did 'Swing Into Spring' - they gave a swing set away to a family. People had to come into the business to register...and usually they ended up eating! : )
This year, they are looking for another creative idea....has anybody done anything similiar or does anybody have any ideas that would be a little bit different than this?
The local restaurant was very thrilled with the traffic that they made and said it was very successful!
Maybe Splash into Spring? Bring in a local pool builder, registration at both businesses? I guess it could still be Jump into Spring with the sound effects of a diving board (but that option may not be feasable for a backyard pool). Maybe this will ignite other ideas...
The restaurant is 'Culver's' - they have a drive thru, you can go in & sit down, they have great ice cream & dessert items, as well as a variety of other menu items. I do not believe they have wifi...
"Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" has been a big hit with one of our local restaurants. The morning show host says the phase "winner winner chicken dinner" sometime during the morning show on a specific day each week. First caller to respond to the phase is entered into a drawing to win lunch with the morning show host along w/4 other winners. Winners also receives a buy one get one free gift certificate from the restaurant. The restaurant receives a nice promo schedule and is listed on the contest page of our web site.
We presented a couple of options to the business and one of the ideas they were most excited about that they were presented with were being a place where people can come in and register to win George Strait & Reba McEntire concert tickets. Then, we would pull so many qualifying names from their registration box and have a concert party at their place of business....in which the qualifiers came to the business & we did a reverse drawing to determine the winner to the concert. We also partnered with a limousine company and there will be a limo that will take the winning couple to the concert! Just thought I would pass this on..in case anybody can also play off of this idea!
