We are going to giveaway a pool this summer and would take any great ideas for promoting etc.

How a bout a Pool contest??
Alternatively, set up a large paddling pool in a high visability location, shopping centre or similar. Drive an on air contest to get applicants to take part, and on the weekend of the main event, get the finhalists to get in the pool at the location and see who can stay in it the longest. The last one to get out, wins the pool! It has worked well in the past with a similar mechanic to win a car. The finalists stand around the car with one hand on it, the last one to be standing and touching the car wins. Good luck.

Do a dunk carnival! How about an hot afternoon where the manager or different ones that work at the place where you will be getting the pool, plus the manager or sales rep at the radio station will get dunked! Pay (whatever amount) and you can dunk (whoever). Make it fun with concessions as well!
