We are looking at restructuring our rate card. We are a 5-station group that sells the three FM’s for the same unit price and the two AM’s for the same unit price. What we do if the person asks about a multi-station discount is to give a 10-15% discount for using both stations. Our parent in company offers 12.5% on the multi-station discount in another country. We do not offer the discount freely because we are all in this for the best commission possible. We also have the advantage that our stations are in completly separate markets so we can say that they are getting two distinct cities out of their buy.

We offer a bulk package in which the clients agree to so many ads for an 8 month time frame. They can use the ads on any of our 4 stations over the coarse of the 8 months. This allows them to use more ads in the months they need it. The billing is split evenly over the coarse of the 8 months. This allows the client to plan thier budget and not worry about the extra money in the months that they need more ads. I attached the package so you can see how we did it. We offer a 33%, 50% and 100% match for the commitment.

We also do a Volume Savings Plan where they more they buy, the lower the rate per station. I attached that too.
