I have more questions than answers. What is his current marketing plan? What does the person who attends an MMA Cage fight look like? (Age, gender, income, etc.) Are his events only in Riverton or does he put on events across Wyoming or does he…

Our Rock Station Z102 http://www.wphz.com has had major success with promoting MMA in our area! I would help educate the listener about MMA. Many people may see it as a barbaric sport, but it can be a sweet science, much like boxing was in its hey…

MMA Cage Fighting Idea's Needed....

I have been talking to a gentleman that just started a MMA Cage Fighting school and event center.... He is already advertising with my compitition but i have several "up's" on them.. My station is rock vs. country... My rates are lower, and myself and station included are very "involved" with our clients vs. giving someone there ads and never talking to them again....so my delima is i want to create a marketing plan for this business that is out of the box and completely out of this world...…See More

This idea is from RSC member David Birnie, of Broken Bow, NE: We have a Movie Theater client that is very agressive and has included us in promoting their shows. They have upgraded to digital and 3D and have two show rooms. This is being done is a…

Indie Movie Mondays. Local filmmakers get their masterpieces shown, they round up crowds to come see their movies, station gets seen in positive light as bringing "art" to the community. If that matters anymore in Radio...

Try "cross-promotions" where the theater ticket stub has value. Example, theater buys schedule of :60's, first :30 promotes the movies, second :30 says that ticket stubs get you free dessert at a certain (co-sponsor) restaurant,…

One of our guys brought this idea from another station, where it worked quite well. We haven't put it into action yet. Theater supplies the radio station with 25 tickets each week for Tuesday Night Show (whatever night needs…

Hi John: How about a registration box in each lobby for 4 weeks or so, with registration only Monday-Friday (you or the theater staff would have to put out the boxes Mondays and pick up the boxes Friday) and there would be one winner drawn at each…

Marketing Ideas for a chain of movie theaters....Please help!

I am in a situation with a chain of 3 movie theaters all owned by one company. My younger brother is a manager at one of the theaters and so i already have a good standing with the company. I can get into the movies for free any time i want. What i would like to do is to present the Marketing guy with some kind of "Big Idea" on getting more people into the theaters during weekdays. I am not really sure on how i should approach this person with pricing. I don't really want to give them some…See More

Any kind of advertisng with your logo's are good. As with radio ad's the more you put yourself out there the more people will think of you, however radio is so competitive that I think you will always have to get out there and sale, sale ,…

To sell your station, you must first sell yourself?......

I have a theory, We all know as sales reps we've come to expect "society" to judge ourselves, our work ethic, and ultimatley their outlook of the company based on their first impression of us... That is natural and fine because i feel that when i am in public, working or not, i am smiling, dressed nice and always keep a good hygine because i never know who i will see, meet or worse see me and i not acknowlege them at any point in time. Therefore i feel like i am one big walking advertisement…See More

Hi John, I'm just visiting different members pages to see what they do. Welcome to radio! It's tough....don't worry about the lingo....and advertisers don't want to hear it.

Wish you well....if I can ever help you with anything, let me know.

Kathie
