I send out a radio sales tip newsletter called The Jingle of The Week. If you'd like to get a few great ideas every Monday morning, send me your email address and I'll hook you up.
I'm sure you'll do just fine; you've got the attitude, and that's 99% of the battle, I think!
Two things I would mention:
1) If you get stuck on copy for a particular client, feel free to put up a post in The Round Table: Brainstorming & Problem-solving section of the forum (just click the "Forum" tab at the top of the page, click on The Round Table link, then the "Add a Discussion" button). I regularly feature requests for help and advice on the RSC Facebook page and weekly newsletter, so it usually doesn't take too long to get some great feedback from our members.
2) I just got an email from Dan O'Day this morning, that he's going to be hosting a FREE, live Q & A teleseminar on radio advertising on Jan. 12. Dan specializes in writing effective ad copy, so maybe the event would be of interest? Here's the link: http://www.danoday.com/radioadvertisingseminar/. Dan publishes a free newsletter on radio advertising/ad copy, too; I believe you can sign up for it at www.danoday.com.
Last but not least, Jeffrey Hedquist has written some great articles on the fine art of copywriting and shared them on RSC; they're in the "Copywriting & Commercial Examples" section of the forum.
Hope some or all of this hopes, and I look forward to staying in touch!
