Hi Delores, What kind of budget are you thinking for a small business?   We have quite a few jingles that can be customized and an inexpensive series of generic songs that are customized with announcer.

Idea for Nursery/Landscaping

This is our "cool iPod music." There are multiple versions/mixes of this song. Designed to be a major agency sound that you provide very cost effectively to your local clients.

Catchy hook. Written to capture that light, breezy sense of a carefree weekend. Copy can be as short as :05 or as long as :30 or :60. An entire campaign in one fun song!…

Yep.....your "mail merge" program is definately old school. Yes absolutely businesses hate telemarketers....so it's all in how you present it. Stations all over generate thousands of dollars each month through telemarketing. The business doesn't look at it as that bad word "advertising"....it's them giving back to the community through education and that in turn brings business back to them.

Sounds like you're a jingle company, not with a radio station.
Gotta remember a radio station is first a sales organization backed up by on-air programming.

Just my two cents.....
