National Distracted Driving Awareness Month


  • April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Texting while driving is a serious problem. The vast majority of Americans agree that it's a problem. And yet, many drivers do it anyway.

    Our Don't Text & Drive messages are designed to warn your listeners of the dangers of texting and driving. There is no better medium than radio for getting the message to drivers throughout the day, and especially while they're behind the wheel listening to their favorite station. Your station.

    Why not invite your local advertisers to partner with you on a long-term basis, reminding listeners day and night to put down their phones when they're driving? Chances are you'll find plenty of community-minded businesses who will want to be part of this.
