Hello! My name is Jennifer and I work for a cluster of Radio Stations in Pennsylvania. I also belong to the Swap A Spot Network. Our Swap A Spot Network is a group of people in Radio – mostly smaller or medium sized markets but we do have some larger market stations on our list – that have come together to help each out with voice overs. This is completely FREE – no money EVER changes hands. We are all in the same boat and want to help each other out. We are a crazy bunch – but then again – in radio who isn’t!? We are very close knit and everyone is extremely helpful. This makes our stations sound so much better – having so many voices to choose from! Our SAS (Swap A Spot) Network started over 4 years ago when some of the Jones Radio Stations started networking…when Jones Radio discontinued their SAS list – there were many of us who kept it going and it has just built from there! Everyone on the list understands that their in-house work comes first and is priority and if you are unable to help a station out ‘that time’ that’s ok – there will be another time. Pretty much everything is done via email. We would LOVE for you to join this network! I know some of you here already are a part of our network and I'm very thankful for each and everyone of you! If you have anything to say about the SAS - please do so below! If you are interested feel free simply fill out the info below and email me back at [email protected] or send me a PM here on RSC! Hope to hear from you soon!

Updates as of 2/24/12:
We now have Swap A Spotters in EVERY STATE!!! We have MANY in Canada and England and 2 in Australia! We have started a 2nd list and it's rapidly growing! This was to keep bulk email messages FREE and to avoid any local/regional station competition and/or infringing on others territories in our attempt to keep this service semi-exclusive. We have also gotten some attention from a group on Facebook, too, but we continuously gain more members because of RadioSalesCafe and we are grateful for your guys everyday! The more the merrier! If anyone is ever interested - please let me know!!!! We are still growing strong!!!!! OH!!! And we now have WELL OVER 230 clusters

Jennifer,
For the benefit of RSC members who are not familiar with the Swap a Spot network, approximately how many different voices are available - male and female?
Thanks very much!
-Rod
Thanks, Jennifer! Sounds like a great talent pool.
Is there a way of previewing voices ahead of time, e.g., a website with online demos? What options are available that would allow someone to narrow the field?
-Rod

Looking forward to getting involved. We've been swapping voices with a small group of stations for quite a few years now, and it's been fabulous. Great seeing there are even more out there doing the same thing. :)
