Roy Williams' article in the July 20th Radio INK ("The Poodles and Tigers of Radio") prompted me to write to him to share a story that goes back to the recession of the mid-1970's, when I was a young advertising salesman working for Jerry Papenfuss in
Winona, Minnesota.
The Wizard thought it would make good "Rabbit Hole" material (devout readers of his
MondayMorningMemo© know what this is), so he asked me to send him a photo.
I thought you might enjoy it, too.

Speaking of photos...here I am at my desk at KAGE AM-FM in August of 1979, my last month there. No gray hairs back then!
