With Paul Harvey gone from the airwaves, has anyone ever found a similar product that could be sold to a client who really likes "The Rest of the Story?" He likes the family friendly, interesting, and entertaining theme. I am looking a the Osgood File but I am in Canada and the slant is a little American. Any ideas? (Rick Mercer will not fly with this client)
    Thanks

You might try Take Two with David Weiss. We have a sponsor who used to do Paul Harvey who has now switched to David and really likes it. Another one that is very family friendly and just plain interesting is the Farmer's Almanac. Even though I am in Alaska and we don't have that much farming in our state, this is an interesting non controversial sponsorship that people seem to really like. I hope you find something you like. I think the whole world misses Paul Harvey.

We have been running a program called "Little Known facts" for years. [email protected]. or 800 465 4411. The syndicator will allow you to run the 60 spot separately later in the evening which we do when we have it sold. They don't dog you for affidavits and are easy to work with. One of my favorites is the story on Charlie Chaplin having an affair with an underage girl from a very unsophisticated family. The house he got them was later used as the home for "The Beverly Hills Hilbillies".

My client actually has local bottled water and also runs an electrical company!
I like the ideas and will look into them. Thanks so much
