    RSC Members,

Everyone is asking ... What do you bring to the meeting to get your Dealer Groups sold? It's no different then selling to a retailer. Bring them an idea that will help them move product and increase sales!

Dealer Group Marketing is a simple concept. There is strength in numbers. If all your Goodyear Tire Dealers join forces, amazing things will happen. The Newspapers sell Dealer Group Programs so why can't you? A good Manufacturer Rep will see the benefits of his account list forming a marketwide alliance and he'll help you get it done. The Rep from American Express took me to visit all her key accounts at the Jersey Shore. The Dealer Group we formed generated a $17,000 order. The Schwinn Bicycle Dealers joined forces and spent over $10,000 with unused co-op dollars. The Kwikset Lock Company gave me $22,000 to help launch a new product and MinWax invested $7,000 every April with me for many years.

Bring the Regional Sales Manager an idea that will increase sales and there's no limit to how much they will spend. Gift With Purchase Programs, Cause Marketing Events, Product Sampling Promotions and Cross Marketing are just a few concepts they can't resist. Once an organized Dealer Group is formed it's near impossible to break up the Alliance. Take lots of pictures, create a YouTube Channel Video and provide some Web Site presence to pour a little cement into your Regional Sales Manager Relationship.

I urge you to trust me and get involved with Building Dealer Groups. I'm here to help you every step of the way ... Maybe we'll even create a jingle for your Dealer Groups. Yeah! I like that idea!
