    My general manager finally wants to make the leap and actually do something with the station facebook and twitter pages. But first he wants me to explain how it works in the context of broadcasting (and how it can make the station money). Any ideas or presentations to help present to him would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    We are  constantly driving listeners to our stations and websites through twitter and facebook. Our on-air folks tell people what's about to happen on their show. Tell your boss to look at social media like a billboard. What are you trying to accomplish with a billboard for your station?
