Summer of Salud!

    Last Summer I came up with a campaign for Anheuser Bush's Chelada Brand. I put together every one of my events, and on site remotes, and turned them into "El Verano de Chalud" (The Summer of Cheers, playing off of the word Salud, to make the word of the Summer..."Chalud!").

    The client made me some t-shirts and banners with the logo on them, and we had a wonderful time promoting the brand in our beer gardens over the summer event series.

    A few times, I would walk into a Mini-Mart, and see a Hispanic Male buying Chelada Beer, and would say to him "Eh!, Chalud!) and they totally got it! It was gratifying to see a Brand come to life in the community.

    The best part, was I was also able to have a couple of other brands get on board for the party, The State Lottery, loved it because they knew they were going to reach Latino's of the right age to play, and a local Casino, for the same reason. Between the three clients, they gave me enough Swag, to go out and give away, and throw some great parties. 

    I was able to get 3 different nightclubs, a couple of restaurants, and some Tiendas (Hispanic Markets), involved to have on site events as well. At the end of the Summer, what started with building recognition for one brand, turned into a $120,000 campaign!

    I hope that you are able to do a campaign like this for your clients, I have three very solid clients this year for Summer, because I was able to show them that we could cross brand and be successful.
