    Hey guys

I need some help and ideas for great monthly advertising packages.

    Any ideas?

I could only come up with this:

    R100 flat-rate per 30 second advert.
    Not mirrored
    Minimum of R2500 per month
Subject to a 1 year contract only
Expires: 12 months from start date

The cost of a 30 second advert in our prime slots cost R250; making this a great bargain.

What other promotions could i make up?

We offer a 12-mo annual with fixed monthly frequency -  32x :30 each month as a 'block' of airtime. This is a branding annual, meaning you typically ru 4x/ day alternate days -  airitme is 6a-12m, M-Su. ACH or somekind of auto-pay is required to participate.  Rates are 1/3 the normal rate.  This plan is to reinforce name recognition and image or position the business, not to promote events or sales.

We also offer a wide variety of feature sponsorships that run in specific dayparts M-F and include live mentions thruout other days and dayparts, e.g., "don't forget to tune in the Retro Lunch Hour, 12 noon to 1 every weekday morning  -  Paul Mathews plays your favorite hits from the 80's and 90's.  Retro Lunch is sponsored by...".  These are available for a minimum of 3 months at a time. Many have a 12-month sponsor.  There can be more than 1 sponsor for any of these -  but only one sponsor in each business category.

    These features include:

Country AMD:      Nitty Gritty from Nashville (morning show host chats via phone with Jimmy Carter, a Nashville insider,

                                  on whazzup in country music)

Bill's Time Tunnel   -  plays a long ago country hit

PMD        4x4       4 current hits in a row at 4p

Adult Contemporary  AMD      Kim Komando Minute         digital tips and ideas

KFC Challenge                  live on-air game to win free chicken from KFC

Tonight Show Monologue    Jimmy Fallon's opening monologue from previous night

                                   MID       Retro Lunch

PMD     Top 5 @ 5           listeners can vote at the station website for their top 5 hits -  votes are

counted daily and the winning songs play 5-4-3-2-1 at 5p.

It works best to go to businesses that make sense for these -  a phone, communications, camera, computer business for the Komando Minute, Nitty Gritty (by name) fits anything from a trash collector or excavating company to carpet cleaning or used car dealer.  The term 'nitty gritty' refers to getting to the heart or basics of something,

Rather than post a description, I've attached a copy of a rate card with several monthly package ideas that encourage signing up for an annual contract.  Annuals encourage the radio station rep and client to focus all their attention on selling to listeners, rather than having to re-sell a schedule every month or three.  Hope this helps.
