Everyone these days is taking "selfies." And sharing them with friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Here's an idea you can have some fun with at your next station event, direct broadcast, bridal fair, home show, etc.: the "(Station) Selfie Studio."
Props to Susan Weed, co-owner and traffic manager at KQQQ/KHTR for coming up with this idea. Susan purchased some costume props on sticks to amuse everyone at the station's annual Christmas luncheon a few months back. They were such a big hit that she decided to order even more stick-props for the station's annual Home and Garden EXPO on March 21st and 22nd.
They were laid out on a table near the station booth for visitors to enjoy. Having the station banner in the background provides added publicity when the selfies are posted.
