VETS LOOKING FOR WORK?
I got (stole) this idea from a friend at another radio station who says it is a very rewarding, feel-good, win-win, no-brainer. While the unemployment rate in our area is low there are still veterans looking for the right career opportunity and we want to help them find it. So if you are a Veteran or know a Veteran in need of such an opportunity, we will help them write and produce a radio ad about themselves, highlighting their qualifications and the opportunity they are looking for. We will then air their ad three times a day for 30 days on our radio stations or until they find the right opportunity. For more information call Joel at 605-725-5551. (This offer is limited to one Veteran at a time, one 30-day run per veteran, and there is no guarantee of a job)
I think this is an awesome idea -- one that you might consider implementing in your market!
