    Radio Sales Cafe Members,

This Week's Sales Tip: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that 70.1 % of High School Graduates are heading to a College or University. The numbers are a little higher for young women (73.8% for women and 68.6% for men.) There's a lot of pressure on these High School students and their parents, and they can use your help.

Schedule a round of Saturday Morning Workshops for College Bound Families. Invite in a generous mix of guest speakers including Admissions Department representatives from area Colleges, Universities, Community Colleges and Technical Schools. Guidance Counselors would love the chance to share their insight into the application process and spice up the panel of speakers with students and recent college graduates.

There are plenty of potential sponsors to fund the program including The Princeton Review, Huntington Learning Center and Sylvan Learning Center. Your hometown has companies that offer this service and they'll spend money to be at your events. Cross promote the Workshops on your stations' web sites with sponsored SAT, PSAT and ACT Questions Of The Day. Video Archive the Workshops and sell the video streams to a video production company.

These young families really need your help and they will support your program. This idea has enormous revenue potential and it's all NEW BUSINESS for your stations!
