This Week's Sales Tip: InsideSales.com released a report a few weeks back that sheds new light on Voicemail. Lets take a look at their findings in Part 2 of this 2 Part Series.
InsideSales.com reports a well crafted Voicemail message can improve response rates by 3% to 22%. When leaving a Voicemail, always refer specifics of a common pain. Perhaps your client is under attack from a competitor or they have high turnover with staff workers.
Here's an example:
"Hi. This is Jim Reilly with WAAA Radio. The new Big Box Store in town must be having an effect on your sales. I wanted to see if it would make sense for us to have a quick conversation about a few ideas I have sure to increase your traffic flow. I can be reached at 732-604-8625. Again it's Jim Reilly with WAAA Radio at 732-604-8625. Thanks."
Inside Radio also reports a followup Email with the subject line: Voicemail will open rates dramatically because clients want to be sure they didn't miss anything.
Here's an example Email:
Hi Barrack. I just left you a Voicemail.
This is Jim Reilly with WAAA Radio. I'm sure the new Big Box Store in town is causing you some trouble. The truth is people really do like to shop with local people where service is the key.
