Ticket Distribution Rethink

We partner with a local pizza chain to give away pizzas at local football and basketball games. We print up 200 numbered "tickets" each game and distribute them to fans and at halftime the announcer randomly picks a number and we give a pizza away at the game to that winner.

However, I'm trying to rethink this for the younger generation and also to save time in printing out the tickets, cutting and trimming, distributing them at the game to fans, etc.

Can anyone think of a cost effective way to do this maybe electronically by text, or some cool way on social media where we still get participation, promote the sponsor and also save ourselves some time in doing this the "old school" way?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi, Becky,

I would suggest doing something through Instagram - such as having the announcer say something at the beginning of the game like, "Who likes pizza? That's right, we all do! So who wants a free pizza? Show some team spirit and snap a pic during the first/second quarter with the #gimmepapajoes (or whatever their name is) for a chance to win a pie at halftime!"

You can keep track of who entered by following the # you created and either just scroll and randomly choose someone, or who you think posted the best pic, or use something like https://woobox.com/pickawinner to chose a winner.

    Kind regards,
