Friday Poll: How Much Time Do You Devote to Prospecting?

    Attrition is a fact of life in advertising sales. Our best clients this year may not be clients at all next year through no fault of our own. We've all had good clients retire, close their stores, or sell to new owners with different ideas about advertising. Or the home office decides to move money from mass media into social media or other online advertising, and our budgets are cut or canceled altogether. 

    How do you keep your pipeline full, to mitigate against the loss of a good client? 

    How much of your workweek do you devote to prospecting for new business? 

    And where are you having the most success in finding new prospects?
