How many Dealer Group Programs did you organize in 2010? If the answer is "None", you really need to read This Week's Sales Tip.

Building a Dealer Group is a fun project that pays off with multiple new clients and guaranteed renewals.  Simply put ... Building a Dealer Group is organizing a group of clients with similiar products and running a marketwide promotion designed to move product. Target several industries like HVAC, Auto Dealers and Real Estate Agencies and invite them to join forces. There is strength in numbers when three or four businesses join a Dealer Group.

Here's an example ... Get four different Pizza Parlors to join forces and promote your K-96.5 Monday Night Football Pizza Pile On. Pick out one Pizza Parlor from the four regions of your signal area and they each run a :12 second promo. A :06 station opening billboard and a :06 closing billborad rounds out the :60 commecial and you now have your first marketwide Dealer Group ... It's that easy

Auto Dealers have been doing their own Dealer Groups forever ... Same thing with FTD Florists, Schwinn Bicycle Shops and John Deere Dealers. Funeral Homes, Jewelry Stores, Tire Dealers, Chiropractors, and Law Firms are just a few more categories that can use your help with Dealer Group Marketing. I'll never steer you wrong. Get on the Dealer Group Bandwagon for 2011 ... It's a real moneymaker.

How would this work for funeral homes, jewelry stores, chiropractors and law firms? Seems they are competing for the same customer.
