Promotion Ideas for Mental Health Institution

I have a mental health client that would like to create awareness for their facility, increase donations & have a consistent presence on our station.  They are a Christian based non-profit, and we are a Christian Music format. (Great fit.) We came up with an idea for 50 healing moments to share during the morning drive time, since it is the foundation's 50th anniversary....but the idea was nixed by the station manager. He's not sure it would fit with the AM feel.....get you up & going.  So now I'm left with needing a few ideas to connect them into our audience & the station.  (They are not keen on buying an ad schedule just to run ads.)

There were a few other thoughts, but I figured I'd throw it out to you, and see if anyone has attempted this before, and what type of track they took.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Kimberly,

Thanks so much for your response, it sounds like a great idea.  Is this something you've been doing for a while, and if so, have you heard any feedback for this tip of the day?

Nothing is more powerful than an ad schedule with good repitition and a great message. This is not buying an ad schedule just to run ads. This is investing your money wisely to get results. If you have a promotion you can put this client into that has a good ad schedule, this will be the route to take.

    Debra,

We have a mental health place on here too. They run a fairly generic spot telling what they can do for you or your family... and they just run it in a prime day part.

I do agree with you that a powerful ad schedule with a great message makes a great impact.  I know that their organization is running a pretty good schedule right now, so that side of it is covered.  This is for the foundation side that raises the money.

Thanks so much for your response Jack.

    Hi Jessica,

Thanks for your input.  Just a few questions.  How has this been working for them?  Are they able to track any type of success with this, or is it more of a branding type campaign?
