Hello all-
I'm about to make my wife very very happy. We've been in Hawaii all our lives, and she really really wants to escape paradise. Now, her hopes are for the SF Bay Area, not necessarily SF proper... she's got family in Danville? And I've got family down in San Diego...
I got started in radio right out of high school back in '79 so I've been a radio trouper for some... well... (where has the time gone-yipes!) 30+ years...
Does anyone have some sage advise and perhaps some direction as to where I should go snooping Bay area wise? I've been in small market radio, getting my start in a stand alone AM during the time you actually sent away for a radio license... and am now hitched to one of the growing clusters in Hawaii.
Years ago I started as "on air"- but I've been mixed sales/air/production for the last 25 years or so doing almost everything imaginable... like most small market people right?
Any ideas?
