Can anyone please tell me how I go about getting sponsorship & advertising dollars from the major alcohol companies? I am in a small market & this is untouched territory.
This may not help you, but it may start a thought.
For the longest time the beer companies treated me like DIRT. They told us what they would pay and we... well we accepted it. That was until a dozen years ago when we opened a bar. THEN the conversation changed. Now, this brought to light what was MOST important for them and that was TAPS. If you keep in mind what they need, how can you facilitate that. Face it, if you walk into a bar and say "Give me a Bud Light" and they don't have it, you're not going to walk out and never come back and the bar owners know this. So what can YOU offer to the bars in yuor area to enhance what the distributors are offering and insinuate yourself into that mix?
