Hi everyone -
I got an email from a client last week I have to share with you.
It's from Terry Jenkins. She owns TJ Stables in Chatham Ontario Canada, a small market of about 35,000 people. TJ Stables provides horseback riding facilities, group tours, day care, gift shop, riding for the disabled and much more.
We produced a jingle for her last summer and she's been a regular advertiser on her local radio stations ever since. Her story is a great testament to the power and memorability of local radio.
Here's the email:
"Hi Geoff - Last week one of our employees was in the local thrift shop getting some costumes for a show we are doing. The man in front of her at the checkout had an old radio he wanted to buy, but wanted to see if it worked first. The cashier plugged it in and bingo, it was playing the TJ Stables song. So my employee started to sing along, so did the cashier, so did the lady next in line and before she knew it there was a whole chorus singing our jingle!! It was great and everyone left the store smiling. I love, love, love my jingle and it is doing exactly the job I wanted it to do!! Thanks again! - Terry"
