Looking for a catchy name for a champagne reception (probably Moet) being held in a private home to raise money for Feed Our Future which is an organization that provides nutritious meals for school children. It is not a dinner gala but tapas will be served. The home is very modern. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
possibly a theme around Harvest Time and Thanksgiving since it is to raise money for Feed Our Future and will take place in November
Many will not like this but I think it will generate a lot of "buzz" for that reason: Champagne for Kids.Underneath in smaller font a benefit for Feed Our Future.
we had that idea too but were worried about getting people all mad and worked up as if we were promoting underage drinking on air. you know how worked up people can get
As a former event planner and someone who used to raise money, I can almost guarantee some will be upset, many will see the humor, most will understand clearly what it is you're doing, why, and who benefits. Most of all, you'll probably raise more money.
You are having a champagne fundraiser for a non-profit that helps feed kids. If you're comfortable with the concept, you should be comfortable with calling it what it is.
