ABSOLUTELY!!! I love coop! It's one of the first things I ask about in my CNA. The trick is to offer to do the research, pre-approvals, and submissions for them. Most just don't want to mess with the details or get frustrated by the process. But once you figure out how each company works, keep a file on how they work so you can go back for those dollars year after year. I have several clients who use coop to effectively double their budget. One company I absolutely ADORE is United Hardware/Hardware Hank. They have the best online system for coop EVER!

From the RAB's Radio Sales Today newsletter this morning:

"Say it with co-op: FTD has recently reinstated their co-op program! (Like many others, their program was put on moratorium during the recent recession.)

While FTD is not yet sharing their image and logo collaterals through RAB’s Co-op directory, you can get those items directly from the contact listed on their co-op plan. FTD-affiliated retailers are allowed to run one media ad campaign that is billed once to FTD.

So in essence, if an FTD florist qualifies for the $2,500 available to them in co-op dollars, make sure they use it all in one campaign utilizing on-air, digital, etc. The campaign can be multi-platform, but if you don’t use the entire amount at one time, the remainder of the co-op money is forfeited."

Thanks Everyone!  I am trying to make a case for us to start using co-op as a sales tool.
