    This Week's Sales TipIf I had only one piece of advice for you that would help you double your sales for 2012, I'd suggest that you start making friends with manufacturer representatives. Regional Sales Managers from companies like Schwinn Bicycles, Olin Pool Chemicals, Art-Carved Diamonds, Benjamin Moore Paints and Dippin' Dots Ice Cream are great examples of super-hot prospects for you on a local direct level ... In fact, these clients outspent my local direct clients 10x's over.         

            

    Regional Sales Managers of national companies have money to spend locally and the money is called Trade Marketing Money. The money is allocated to do two things: 1) Increase Sales and 2) Obtain additional display space. When you meet these representatives, put the focus on these two points and you'll be surprised at how receptive they will be to your ideas.
